Most likely because of recent updates, it can cause your phone to act weird. My phone after the android 12 update sometimes has the same issue, although it ain't frequent.

Well then its something about the core apps malfunction maybe. Try this, although I won't give you much of a hope on this since reset didn't, but it won't hurt to try; try clearing cache off the system ui and google play services and restart, you get that by going to settings - apps - system apps. Even if that doesn't work, next time, try clearing data of google play services.

Dear Samsung member,

Greetings from Samsung customer support.

Thank you for sharing your concern. We acknowledge your query and apologize for the same. And please follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.

There are two methods to disable the auto-restart function
Method 1: From the home screen swipe up or down to access the App Screen > Setting > General Management > Reset > Auto Restart > To Turn OFF auto-restart slide the slider toward the left.
Method 2: Go to 'Settings'>>Tap on 'Battery and device care'>> Tap on Three dots>>Tap on 'Automation'>>Disable 'Auto-restart at set times' if enabled

If you are facing this issue after installing any new application then uninstall that application.
Navigate to the Apps screen and tap on Settings>>Tap on Apps>>Tap on the desired app>>Tap on Uninstall>>Tap on OK

Reset settings: From the home screen, click on Settings>>General Management>> click on reset and then reset setting.

Kindly perform some quick troubleshooting steps to resolve the hang issue:

1. Check space availability:
Kindly check the space on your device: Settings > device care >storage.
To improve the device performance there should be sufficient space. Keep at least ''minimum of 20% internal memory free''.

2. Check internal memory space: Kindly check RAM in your device: Settings>device care>memory. To improve the performance RAM of the device should be free. So, clear the RAM memory once a day.

3. Check app cache:
1- Clear app cache through device care: Apps> settings> device care> storage> clean now.
Note: To delete files or uninstall apps that you do not use anymore, select a category under USER DATA. Then, tick items to select and tap DELETE or UNINSTALL.

2- Clear cache memory of a particular application: App screen>settings>apps>pick the app that you like to clear off the cache memory. For example, 'Samsung internet'> storage> clear cache.

4. Close background running apps:
When running multiple applications, the processor processes more tasks and as a result, additional heat is released from the device. This happens with most electronic devices (even computers/laptops), including the devices of other manufacturers. Close all applications, not in use.

5. Uninstall the unnecessary (3rd party application) apps:
Too many apps installed on the device may cause the device heating issue. Uninstall the unnecessary apps if not using them.
Path: Settings>>Apps>>Select the third-party application from Apps. Eg. DU Recorder>>Uninstall

6. If the issue has not been resolved then remove the memory card from the device:
Step1: Before removing the memory card, first, unmount it for safe removal.
On the home screen, tap apps > settings > device maintenance > storage > more option > storage settings > SD card > unmount.
Insert the ejection pin into the hole on the tray to loosen the tray
Note: Ensure that the ejection pin is perpendicular to the hole. Otherwise, the device may be damaged.
Step2: Pull out the tray gently from the tray slot.
Step3: Remove the memory card.
Step4: Insert the tray back into the tray slot.

Note: Please ensure that the memory card is not removed while the device is transferring or accessing information.
Doing so can cause data to be lost or corrupted or damage to the memory card or device.
Samsung is not responsible for losses that result from the misuse of damaged memory cards, including the loss of data.

7. Disconnect third party accessories from the device:
Due to ''3rd party'' (not provided by Samsung) accessories, (Like ''charger, USB cable'' etc.) device might also hang. So kindly avoid the usage of these 3rd party accessories.

8. Disable power saving mode:
''Power saving mode'' limits the performance of the device. So, we recommend disabling the power-saving mode in your device.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Error report/Ask questions).

Thank you for writing to us.
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support.
