My fingerprint sensor is not working what will I do

Have you got the one ui 4.0 update is it because of that?

I got December update this year

Open Samsung phone dialer app (factory one)
Press *#0*# - it will take you to a testing menu. Press SENSORS button in center, then in buttom you'll see Finger print sensor NORMAL SCAN. Press it. It will show you pass /fail status & bad pixels.
If it has bad pixels, try going to local Mobile repair shop or buy a spare one from Maxbhi.com (search by model no) and get it installed by someone.

It is saying it has no problems

Then it should recognise. Try going to settings & deleting all fingerprints. And then again adding fingerprint from top, buttom, left side, right side angles.
Sometimes you need to refresh the scans.

Bro can u tell me when we are required to refresh the fingerprint scan like in how many days .
