Fingerprint Scanner

Hi everyone.  My Galaxy M31 fingerprint sensor doesn't unlocks the phone if the phone is idle or not used  for more than 10 minutes. I had to press the side key then draw the pattern to unlock.  After that scanner too works fine. What could be the problem?

Bro this problem occurs in some devices same thing happening with me but in face unlock you have to go to feedback section and give a queries to there then they may help u with upcoming updates

Goto settings, apps then tap 3 dots then special access then optimise battery usage, there search for 'biometric' then disable battery optimization

Sorry brother. Didn't find any biometric tab there. Anyhow I have reset the settings but still the problem occurs. Any leads to this will be much appreciated.

Also turn it off for One UI Home and System UI. You can also turned it off for Android System and Android System Webview. This will remove all UI lag with no noticeable battery life differences.

Debloat your device. Uninstall all unnecessary system apps using ADB. Here is a list( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12jEGQftFUL3vAI03X0Ku1LgoWFQKdwPA_WHuLh_2ics/edit?usp=sharing) of apps that can safely be uninstalled.
