Display light on/off

Hello,

I'm using Galaxy M40,

In this device whenever I'm getting any Sms the display lights are getting auto On for 5-10 seconds which is disturbing for me.

Has here any option to turn this off while getting any sms?

simply turn off flash for messages.

disable flash notifications

it's already off.
and it's not a flash light, its main display light.

whenever receiving any sms the disply are getting auto On for 5-10 seconds.

Can you check it with disabling wake lift off feature.
Might be its getting confused with it.

my problem is reverse.
display is not getting on when i receive any msg/notification..
i want it to get on when receive notifications..
