Cannot transfer data/files to pc with M31s

M31s is a great device,  however,  I cannot connect it to pc or laptop to transfer data.  When i connect it to pc or laptop, it doesn't give options in notification bar to change from charging to MTP. It only charges the phone.  It it a bug? Or is it just my phone which is faulty? Or is there anither issue?

Hi @rajkm008, I tried going into the developer options and even turned on USB debugging. I even turned on the File Transfer Option from USB Default configuration tab, still I'm not able to access my phone on my laptop.

Try restarting the device and check if the option is still on. After doing so, connect your samsung compatible cable to your computer (yes it does depend on your cable type as well, cuz this is SAMSUNG 🙄)

I do get your point, cuz every other OEM makes it possible for us to choose the option to charge or transfer data directly from the notification panel. But Samsung, for some reason, hid it in and well. One you switch it on though, you get the option to make changes directly in your notification panel.
