Its been 5 days since I got my Samsung m31s mobile. And its battery is draining too fast. It doesn't feel like I am using 6000mAh capacity battery. My usage is normally browsing, trading and pubg for 1 hour only in a day. I keep my data and bluetooth always enabled. My phone's battery lasts for 13hrs only. Where as my previous phone which was having 5000mAh used to last for 1 and half day with same usage.

for M series with 6k battery 13hrs is good however u can do these settings to save more battery life

1. Connection>more connections settings> disable nearby device settings

2. Location>improve accuracy >disable
A. Wifi scanning
B. Bluetooth scanning .

3. Google >click on 3dot>usage and diagnostics >off this option

4. developer option >background limit>no background processes.

5. Long press on each app specially 3rd party and rarely used app>app info>

A. Mobile data> allow background data usage>off

B. Battery >allow background activity >off

C. Notification >disable unnecessary notifications like promotional and unnecessary reminder notifications.

6. Device care>battery >select "optimised and adaptive power saving.

Steps to enable developer option
settings >about phone>software information >then u find build number >tap 7 times>then back to settings
and at end of settings one new option called developer option
click on it and find that option

I didn't turned off usage and diagnostics because I believe in Google on battery usage and they need the proper information for further improvement in future updates so I am not hesitate to turn it off. How do you say? should I turn it off cuz I think Google is stiil working for battery and other features improvement 🤔

thatswhy i said .... if you did that then none of the battery tricks will helpful because actually and recommended process is flash that firmware by using odin or smart switch or through authorised service center ...mobile data or wifi brings software holes over software and create various types of issues in devices it's never been recommended... if software holes present in software then nothing will applicable except you flash that last firmware..Samsung introduced smart switch that people can get software holes free highest performance of device. but people do same mistakes repeatedly and facing different types of issues in devices by which this forum is full with
