Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

We acknowledge your query. To resolve your Galaxy device Auto restart issue Please perform the below-mentioned steps:-

A. Disable Auto Optimization
1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
2. Go to Battery and Device Care and select Auto Optimization from the following menu.
3. Disable the toggle next to Restart when needed

B. Free Up Storage Space
A quick way to free up storage space on your phone is to remove unused apps or delete large files. After that, your Samsung phone should stop restarting on its own.

C.Reset App Preferences
1. Open the Settings app and tap on Apps.
2. Tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner and select Reset app preferences.
3. Select Reset to confirm.

D. Update Your Apps
It’s possible that one of the third-party apps on your phone is acting up and causing it to restart. If that’s the case, it shouldn’t take long before the app developer releases a fix.

E.Check for software update
Open up the Settings app and tap on Software Update. Tap on Download and Install to check for any pending updates.

F.Check device heating
If your device becomes too hot, it might switch off automatically. This can be after running for a long time or when running more power-intensive apps like playing games etc.

G. Check the device in Safe Mode
Steps to enter into Safe Mode:
1. Power off the device.
2. Press and hold the Power key for one or two seconds to turn on the device.
3. When the Samsung logo appears, press and hold the Volume Down key.

Note: If your device functions correctly in Safe Mode, it is most likely that the issue lies with a 3rd party application that can be uninstalled to resolve the problem.

Step to Exit safe mode:
1. Press and hold the volume down and power the key for at least 5 seconds to force the device to restart.
2. Press and hold the power button on the right-hand side and select restart on the screen.
3. Swipe down the notification panel to access it. Select the notification safe mode enabled and tap OK on the prompt to restart the device.

H. Factory Reset Your Phone
1. Open the Settings app and tap on General Management.
2. Scroll down to tap on Reset and select Reset all settings from the following menu.
3. Tap on Reset settings and enter your device PIN or password to proceed.

In case the issue still occurs. Please visit the service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/

Thank you for writing to Samsung.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support

If possible exchange the phone soon. This problem will persist and soon motherboard (Exynos 9611) will give up which may cost you around ₹9000.

Backup your data before it's too late. To turn on the phone forcefully, press and hold power button and volume down button.

After that try factory reset.
If the issue still persists, try installing firmware whose process I have explained in my post(link below):
