Problem with Samsung M55s – Accidental Emergency Calls

I am facing a serious issue with my Samsung M55s. The power button, when accidentally pressed (such as while carrying the phone in my pocket or handling it casually), frequently triggers emergency calls. This results in unwanted emergency calls being made 19 to 44 times a day, which is extremely troublesome and stressful.

I checked the settings on my M55s, and I found that the Emergency SOS service is active by default, and there is no option available to disable it. I am unable to turn it off or make any meaningful adjustments. This limitation has left me with no control, and the phone keeps dialing emergency numbers without my intention.

This issue is not just frustrating—it could potentially block emergency lines and cause unnecessary panic. I am genuinely irritated by this situation and currently have no solution.

I request Samsung to take this seriously and provide an update or fix that includes:

The ability to fully disable emergency calls via the power button.

A confirmation step before any emergency call is made.

Better control and customization of the Emergency SOS settings.

Please help resolve this as soon as possible.

● Go to settings> search emergency sos> then turn off.

If the issue persists, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send).
