if you get nougat update you will face many problem with your phone such as hanging,battery drain,network error etc..
why you will face the problem because your system have low configuration so not supported new os

so don't ask update it is better to live in your current os

If you again want more sale your old phone and buy a new one as you wish

Updates are rolling out by time to time for the devices, However it totally depends on the availability and compatibility of the update with the devices. Nougat is already planned for the concern Samsung devices soon these are going to receive a nougat update.
