The front camera of GALAXY J8 is taking blank photos!

The front camera is taking blank photos sometimes especially when HDR is not on. Is there anyone else who is facing the same problem with the front camera sometimes? Is it a  problem with my device or is it a bug of Android Pie?

I tried all these steps. But nothing worked.

Are you facing this problem after any update? Have you cleared the data and cache of the camera app and does this issue still exists?

If you're feeling that this issue is occurring due to something else and even after some updates if this issue still exists then do visit your nearest Samsung customer service centre for getting the accurate information.

Yes this has happened after updating my device from Android Oreo to Pie. And yes I have Cleared cache, data, had reset settings and even done Factory Reset twice. But still the problem persists. So I think it is a software bug.

Yes, you're correct then it may be due to software bug. Wait simply for next update, I hope it'll be fixed.

Yes I have to wait for the next update. I have informed Customer Care about the problem. Let's see if this bug is fixed or not. Even after the update if the problem remains I have to go to the Service Center. But I am out of warranty now.

Go to camera settings.. then Front camera settings.. and change it to 8 MP..
