Battery draining fast Galaxy j5 Prime

My galaxy j5 prime(Oreo) battery is draining so fast,i have been trying many ways to improve battery, i'd done factory reset but its meaningless..I set screen brightness as low as posible,turn off location,turn off vibrations,turn on only data when using internet for short period of time in a day, using greenify......etc..!!! Suggest me any other ways to improve bettery...Battery capacity is just 2400mAh...!!

more than a year.....I never play any games.i set screen time is 15sec....etc..

See after factory reset also if battery performance is not improving, then may be the battery has degraded you may need a battery replacement.

Lithium ion batteries degrades over time so it's common to see battery drained out quickly..
My old J7 Prime's battery drains quickly too..

This is problem of the battery getting old.
You can either replace battery or opt for a new device. Choice is yours based on value for money.

Just wanted to let you know that this device is now out of support by Samsung.

Battery optimization helps you to boost the battery performance of your device. To check battery optimization:

Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage and Memory

Kindly turn off the smart features of the device and other connectivity features when not in use, which will eventually help you to reduce battery power consumption (smart features such as Motion gestures in advance feature and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, etc.).

Please follow the below steps:
1. Swipe down on the home screen to open the notification panel.
2. Tap on Bluetooth, Location/GPS, Wi-Fi, Mobile hotspot, NFC, etc. to turn off.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Error report).

1. sound and vibration then system sound then off all vibration

2. notification then app notifications and off all unnecessary app notifications

3. display than on dark mode

4. display than off adaptive brightnes

5. advanced features than labs off all experimental feature

6. advanced features than motion and gesture off all

7. on power saving mode
