I play tennis regularly in the morning for 2 to 3 hrs... even in the hospital hours I get some more steps... and in evening I again walk for one hour...

That is equivalent to a sportsman's count. Great that you are able to clock that much in your busy schedule as a physician. I was doing a paltry 2000 odd steps per day. I got inspired from your logs. Thanks for replying my query.
