So hello πŸ‘‹ Members seeing πŸ‘€ you after like century,
Many of you may wonder (may be not)how to capture star trials , so here's how to
To capture star trials with mobile camera there are 2 basic requirements
1)A Mobile
2) Pro mode witn 30s or 32s exposure (s=30/32s)
And yes if you have Galaxy Z Fold or Flilp or a tripod then greatπŸ‘
Open camera and go to pro mode and set s=30/32s (depending on camera support) (if expert RAW Supported
The use respective options of astrophotography)
3) fix phones location (stabel and camera facing night sky) , be in an dark area with less noise(light pollution) .
4) now take 30sx50 shots or 32sx50 shots and use an app to combine them properly to from start trails and to save your time because you won't be using Adobe Photoshop I have found app which does it all you just need to select all shotsπŸ˜‰ link:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slash.startrails

Now let me explain the reason of star trials
See stars are millions of lightyears away from us so they appear stationary form frame of reference of earth🌎
And earth takes 4mins to rotate by 1Β° (degrees) , due to this if you take long exposure shots of night sky for more than 4 mins you bet star trials!

This was captured by me (zoom a bit to see because it was of 10mins instead of 26 mins for 50 shots)

Bonus tip: if you manage to make the pole star at center of your camera frame you get star circles (in North directon)

This app will help you find dark noise free locations :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pa.lightpollutionmap

This app will help you find best sky view , identify stars ,plantes , constellation etc :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.t11.skyviewfree

If your phone has no option for 30s or 32s exposure use this app (it's early access, link unavailable please find it)

Btw why would you prefer manually for star trails?
I mean I would never prefer shooting for 30 minutes clicking that shutter button manually on cold nights πŸ₯Ά or not enjoying a bonfire on treks and clicking the S button πŸ€”
Is there anything am missing?

A different level of satisfaction 😌 come and I basically use Bluetooth trigger and sit near bonfire

BT trigger is an additional accessory, yes, a better option than clicking it again and again on smartphone,
3 years back, I used to click the button of my earphones to use the shutter buttonπŸ™„πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚
But when I came to know about these apps that can shoot automatically, I never used earphones back again for clicking πŸ˜… just because it's more convenient for me
