What is the "other files" section that is consuming so much storage ? Is there any way to clean it so that I can free up my space

That's perhaps the cache section. Clear out the cache. This can be done by clearing cache partition (if your UI still supports this)

Mine shows an option to clear those files. Which OneUI version do you use?1773399714781.jpg

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we want to inform you that the “Other” storage category contains data from apps you have installed on your smartphone or tablet. It includes items such as system files, cached data, and temporary files that do not fall into any other storage categories.

The data contained in the “Other” storage category cannot be deleted directly from your device. However, you can clear some of it by deleting cache or app data by the given link.

Clear app cache and data: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/how-to-clear-app-cache-and-data-in-samsung-devices...

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
