hahaha , light trail photography needs mastering over camera and how artificial light ( camera usually reproduce the light ) handled by lense sensors and also how you direct camera to get environment lights

any human being who knows to control and handle aperture , ISO , Focus , exposure, shutter speed , object capture timing and stable ground for camera, kelvin value is optional ( cloudy , day light , indoor etc managed via kelvin value , you might se it as WB symbolically)

everything is possible

there is no such big difference in DSLR type and smartphones camera ( in photo capture but huge difference in quality )

example with phone camera light trail inside from my car ( as my car is in move quality will be less , Light ray trail shot need a very stable camera position)

No... a50 and a50s' maximum shutter speed is 1/8 seconds even with third-party camera apps. it's such a bummer that it cannot do this for this price range.
