Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your query, we want to inform you that you can use this option for blocking unknown numbers.

● Galaxy device block unkown calls option issue: If this option is not working kindly share the log file. Also, share video clips and images for better understanding. This will help us to further investigate and resolve this issue.

Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send.)

● You can also use these steps to block the numbers by the given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/block-calls/

However, Kindly perform the following steps to resolve your device lagging and Quick share issues.

● Galaxy device quick share working slow issue: Before you try the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:

→ Step 1. First, make sure the Quick Share feature is turned on for both phones. On the other device, open the notification panel, swipe downwards, and then tap Quick Share to activate it. It will be blue when it's activated.
If the Quick Share icon does not appear in your Quick settings panel, you may need to add it.

→ Step 2. Launch the Gallery app and select an image. Tap the Share button and select a device to transfer the image. Accept the file transfer request on the other device.

→ Step 3. If you’re having trouble connecting to another device, swipe down from the top of your screen to open Quick Settings, and then touch and hold the Quick Share icon. Tap the switch next to "Show my position to others" to let nearby devices see your device when they are using Quick Share. This option will only show if Quick Share is enabled. The "Show my position to others" option is only available on select models.

Tips about using Quick Share:
●If you are unable to locate your device ensure you have enabled your phone or tablet visibility. To enable this setting head into your Settings > Connections > toggle on Phone Visibility. You can share files with up to 5 devices at once.
●Make sure the other person's screen is on. You may incur additional charges when sharing files via the mobile network.
●Devices based on Android Q OS will support this Quick Share feature and available targets may differ by device model.
●The receiving device must support Wi-Fi directly. The receiving device’s screen is on.
● Wi-Fi must be turned on.
● You can send up to 1GB at one time and a maximum of 2GB per day.

Galaxy device lagging issue: ● Kindly check the space on your device:
Path: Settings > Battery and device Care > Storage
To improve the device performance there should be sufficient space.

● Kindly check the RAM in your device:
Path: Settings > Battery and Device Care > Memory.
The device's RAM should be free to improve performance. So clear the RAM once a day.

● Clear app cache through Device care:
Tap on Settings>Device Care> Storage> Clean Now.

● The clear cache memory of a particular application:
Settings > Apps > Now pick the app that you like to clear off the cache memory > Storage > Clear Cache.

● Is there any unnecessary application running in the background?
Kindly close the background running applications in the device (Tap the left side key & close the background running application).

● Kindly uninstall that application by following the below steps and check once as the issue might occur due to third-party applications: Settings> Apps> Select the third-party application from Apps> Uninstall.

● Kindly check if you are using a memory card on your device.
If you are using the memory card on your device. we will advise you to safely remove it from your device. For this follow the below steps:

Step 1: Before removing the memory card, first, unmount it for safe removal.
On the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Device maintenance > Storage > More option > Storage settings > SD card > Unmount. Insert the ejection pin into the hole on the tray to loosen the tray.
Note: Ensure that the ejection pin is perpendicular to the hole. Otherwise, the device may be damaged.

Step 2: Pull out the tray gently from the tray slot.
Step 3: Remove the memory card.
Step4: Insert the tray back into the tray slot
Note: Please ensure that the memory card is not removed while the device is transferring or accessing information. Doing so can cause data to be lost or corrupted or damage to the memory card or device.
Samsung is not responsible for losses that result from the misuse of damaged memory cards, including the loss of data.

● If you enabled Power Saving Mode, Power saving mode limits the performance of the device. So we recommend disabling the Power Saving mode in your device.

● Update the software if available: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-update-software/

● You can reset your device by following the steps.
1. Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
2. Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
3. If you do not remember then advise to reset (Forgot password) his/her Google account.

Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tab on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings.
This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.

Warm Regards,
