So I'm probably going to get my battery replaced by Samsung authorised service center (galaxy a54) because my unit had really bad battery life.
Will the phones ip rating no longer exist after a battery replacement ?
It's a new phone and I bought the phone specifically for it's ip rating and cameras, I don't wanna loose the water resistance.

Yes, but u have to pay extra for water proofing fixing

Yes. Probably your phone lost ip rating due to poor taping . So don't take chance to dip in water. MY s20 plus also damaged next day after repair from water twice. 😪

Your device will not lose IP rating because the Samsung authorised service center takes care of your device...

How is that possible? I mean a new galaxy a54 having a bad battery? It may be something else bro..there may not be any issue with the battery..maybe its some other factors draining your battery

Before you go to service centre can you please share battery stats here?
Because we all are not getting SOT more than 10 hrs

Do factory reset and use your A54 for a few days with essential apps only. I don't think you need a battery replacement as early as this.
