Why Spell check is not working in Samsung Notes app?

I have enabled spell check in English (US) and typing in same, but no red under-line in wrong spelling. It works fine in all other apps (not working here also in members app)

Open the keyboard for typing >> click on the settings icon >> smart typing >> auto spell check >> English UK (turn it on).

I'm having the same exact issue. Everything is turned on but its not working.
