One UI 7 (Android 15): Predictive transitions missing in many apps

I'm using One UI 7 (Android 15), and I've noticed that the newpredictive transition animation (where the app smoothly shrinks when swiping up) is only working in a few apps.

Some apps likeGoogle andSpotify support the predictive closing animation — the transition looks smooth and modern.

But many apps stilldo not support it, including:

  • Samsung apps: Settings, Samsung Members, Galaxy Store, Samsung Notes, My Files, Gallery, Internet, Clock, Camera, etc.
  • Google apps: YouTube (predictive transition missing despite being a core Google app)
  • Other popular apps: Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Telegram, Amazon, Flipkart, and more
These apps either close instantly or fade out, which makes the experience inconsistent across the system.

Since predictive transitions are a major part of Android 15, I hope more apps — especially Samsung’s and Google's — get updated to support this soon.

To share the log file: Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send.

Note: To ensure relevant log information is included in the error report, submit the report within 3 minutes of encountering the bug or error, and do not terminate (swipe away) the Samsung Members application until you are notified that the report has been sent. This can take up to 5 minutes.
