Hi can anyone answer this all the youtubers have been ranting about 4 years of software update and 5 Years of security update for galaxy a73 is that true or just a marketing gimmick

No it's true but the device has to survive to get upto 4 os and 5 years security patch
So ur point s also valid

If you take care of your phone, it can last atleast 4 years. Now if it gets a hardware issue despite taking care, that is something else entirely. But A series and S series usually last a long time. My friends A50 is still going strong - 3 and a half years later!

M series some times lags
But a series s little bit stable than m and f series

Thanks for the article because this is the first they I am reading of it when I had contacted the support line they denied it and said it is only 2-3

Indian customer support know nothing. A73 will get 4 OS updates (till Android 16) and 5 years of security patches.
