Samsung isn't doing what they claimed about their company...they said that will give a software update each month and security patches will be updated of running month or just a month back...but they gives update only once in 2...3 months...

Delay doesn't make any bad difference if device keeps functioning properly.

It depends on the phone u use ..
Mention ur device too ..
Samsung hasn't promised to give monthly updates to all its phones..
