Kindly optimize your device.
- From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Device Care.
- Tap Optimize now.
- Tap Memory at the bottom as well then Clean Now.
- Mark as New

Galaxy ABefore activating the screen reader I would suggest you soft reset the device then you may activate it, preferably tap the switch once and if there is still a lag please revert.
Please perform a soft reset of your device.
Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.
*The device may take a screenshot, however, keep holding the buttons for a few more seconds. This is a soft reset and will not factory reset your phone.
