Screen not waking for notifications

I have a samsung a14 5g with no pending updates. It's very irritating that their is no option for screen to wake up for notifications. Tell me if there is any way to do it, it's very frustrating. Also tell me if their is a way to do the same for edge lighting when the screen is off.

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to Enable the wake up display while recieving the notification and Edge lighting on your device.

1. Wake up display while recieving the notification: Settings→ Notification → Notification pop style → Tap on enable the show even screen off.

2. Enable edge lighting: Settings > Notifications > Notification pop-up style > Edge lighting style > Select Effect, Color, Advanced > tap ‘Done.’
