Its a new major OS update. Do the following

1. Clear Cache from recovery
2. Wait for a few days for the system to settle. Around a week
3. If not, backup and factory reset. And do not restore settings from backup.

Previously, with identical settings, the Screen On Time was double what it is now. The UI 6 upgrade, rather than improving things, feels more like a gimmick and moreover seems to be a downgrade.
