Samsung Authenticity - A55 5g

Hi, just enquiring. My mum just got the samsung a55 5g, and as I was helping her set it up I noticed on the box it says "Made In India" and below it says "AFA". So I'm just curious as to if it is original, as I went back and looked at previous samsungs phones boxes that we have and it says either Vietnam or China. So I'm just wondering if it is original since it says made in india. Also if it is a good phone??

I got the phone from Telkom, please advise asap. Much appreciated

Yes it's Authentic. Indian versions are authentic. I use an F13 made in India. Original.

Also, is it a good phone as she had the a50 from 2019? And upgraded to this (A55)

Most Samsung phones are manufactured in Vietnam, China and India. Getting it from Telkom I'm surprised it's an AFA instead of an XFA. Maybe Samsung South Africa decided to switch it up this year.

Sorry, what do you mean AFA instead XFA? Will that be an issue

I looked in the settings and it does say XFA under service provider software version. And only AFA on box under the "Made In India" print. Please advise

I just double checked my S23U box and it also has the AFA but made in Vietnam. I realized the AFA must mean it's for Africa 😎 so don't worry everything is good 🤙🏾
