Recently my phone started having charge problems. Every time I charge it while it's on it charges very slow, yesterday morning I saw it say 18 hours till full. Last night I switched it off and placed it to charge. I was charging but today when I wake up it was showing a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark whe it's supposed to show battery percentage, then at the bottom of the screen was showing a slashed out type c charger. The problem might be with the USB cable but I'm not sure, a few months back, my cousin's kid chewed the USB and silver wires were exposed, but I closed that with tape and been using it since then with no problems.
I had the same problem and changing batteries ,cables,chargers and even cleaning the phone of supposed viruses didnt work!(I took it to 3 different repair centres all of whom didnt know **bleep** they were doing and never even thought of the real problem)It turned out the problem was the ribbon cable inside the phone that I think connects the charging block to the "rest of the phone" Once this cable was replaced my phone has been charging and working perfectly!
