SAMSUNG A71 CHARGING ISSUE ENCOUNTER!!!

I was being paranoid of thinking how is my Samsung A71 is not charging? I was just Is there's something wrong the charging pin? Or did I step on the charger cable so that my phone is not charging, etc.

I did everything to find the issue. I just clean the charging pin. I already fix the charger cable, I plugged and unplugged, Restart, reset and so many more.

Then In my curiosity I tried to use different charger then it's worked its getting charged.

But is not fast charging! And now I'm encountering a heating issue while charging. Samsung please fix this!!!! There's something wrong with the software! There's so many complaint about this issue! And we haven't heard anything to help us with this issue!!!!

I had the same problem and in fact the issue gets worst as time pass. I've had my phone for an year and had this issue for 3 times, where I've had enough and send the phone to repair.

Despite the issue is a bother, the sadest is that from Samsung assistance, the reply is ridiculus. It seems quite clear that this is a very common issue.

Their answer was, " it's need to replace the mainbord, display and camera, due the humidity pads where degraded" as if, with any reasonable use they wouldn't. I mean if kept the phone in the box, for sure they would be perfect... Plus the associated cost being higher than the phone itself thus not covered by the guaranty.

I've asked to repair the charging issue, my cameras and display works fine. This issue is related to fast charging issues and incompability, a faulty product that of course is now inconvinient to solve. 

Had a very good image from Samsung, but since this, my way to solve the issue is very simple I DON'T BUY ANYMORE

I know this is an old topic but I think I HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER.

Unfortunately Samsung mobile phones are very bad quality and the structure is VERY WEAK.

This means that the shape of the phone will distort when in your pocket so that if you lay the phone on a glass table or flat surface and look at it, you will see that it is DISTORTED and it is impossible to recover the original shape.

I had the no charging issue and this is due to the very bad build quality and SOFT material of the A71 and all other Samsung phones. I tried to fix the software issue, and even completely FACTORY RESET my phone, and still it would not charge.

However I found that if I hold the phone and bend it in my hands, eventually it will start charging again! Unfortunately as soon as i let go, it STOPS CHARGING.

So, once this charging/USB problem starts then the phone is dead. It is due to the bad quality of the phone and there is nothing you can do once this has happened.

So my advice is to firstly NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG PHONE, but if you get this problem then send to Samsung immediately. And then NEVER BUY AGAIN!!!

I always liked Samsung but they are terrible quality. It is such a shame.

I've tried your solution and it works very well. It's so simple, I just need to plug my cable then bend my phone for a while  then it turns back normal. Thank you

You are spot on. There is a youtube video that is posted by some store called "sydney cbd" that shows disassembling the phone and putting electric tape on it to fix it. So basically a cable get loose and it must be due to the fact that phone getting deformed.

So in my case, putting pressure on the back side of the phone solved it. I wonder how long this trick would work.

My galaxy a71 only works with super fast charging or a chromebook charger.  Any other USB C chargers it won't charge and says check connections.  I've tried multiple different cords and super fast charging blocks and they ask do the same thing.  Any ideas how to fix this?  I can't charge my phone in the car anymore.  There is no lint in the port and I cleaned it out with no good results.

Mine is just over a year and started the same problem. The safe mode tip did not work. I've tried a different charger did not work. So I connected to my laptop and it charges super slow (6 hours for a full charge) i'm so disappointed as I loved this phone but everything points to a hardware issue.
