Does anyone regret buying a Galaxy A53 ?

I do.

My issues are as follows :-

1. Gesture navigation not working properly like back gesture swipes sometimes won't register at all. I mostly use Onehand Operation+, after it started showing issue I tought it may be an app issue. So I switched back to stock gesture navigation, still the same issue. Tried using traditional navigation keys they too seem to be not working at times.

2. Constant system hickups. The system lags every now and then. Won't load apps, sometimes app's crash. And OMG the lag of the phone. My mom's years old Realme Note 5 Pro seems far better than mine.

3. Ok the camera is good. But what's the use if it wont open in time or not even register the shutter touch. The time it takes to snap after hitting the shutter button, it's so much so lag I have missed some awesome moments.

4. Navigation, the worst navigation I have ever seen in my life. Budget Realme and Mi phones have better GPS than this.

The list is small but major.I thought there would be a magical update that would fix all this but. Even after the update the bugs remain. Im frustrated even single day of these silly issues. I don't think this can be fixed by any software update. And for those who think I have a defective touch screen, I don't. Checked it in a mobile shop and before that checked it in Samsung's own hardware checking tool. Hope someone finds this post. I tried factory resetting the phone 3 times.

My friend have galaxy A53. Working superb. No any single issue. If you are facing these problem, just go to samsung care.

Bro to fix this gesture navigation issue,you can use One hand operation+ app it's a part of Goodlock App,instead of phone's gesture navigation,I'm using the app and I've set it up in a way that it works exactly like the way I want,I have been using it for a while and it works flawlessly,I'm sure it's worth a try since you're facing this kind of issue.

😑 that's another problem. I have been using On Hand Operation+ for years and don't use stock. That too seem to be not working a times.

Go to safe mode or u can do vipe cache partition of recovery mode

Common issues after doing OTA update, I suggest you do full factory reset.

If you want to update your mobile then use smart switch PC application, update size will be around 4 to 5GB so use wifi connection.

Updated it. Issues are prior to the update and still persist after the update. Done factory reset 3 times already.

Then visit main Samsung service center and explain your problems, first ask them to flash the latest ROM from their PC. If the problem still persists then go for repair on warranty.

I think your phone has some major issues. Try resetting it once before the next update. I usually don't recommend a factory reset but this seems to be an issue which needs a total reset and then when the next update comes, do it using the smart switch app on a laptop or pc.

If nothing fixes the issue, try to repair or replace the device under warranty. These issues are not normal and shouldn't happen on ANY device.

Nb: no one from Samsung will even read the posts here, let alone respond. The maximum you can expect is a copy pasted reply from a bot.
I am using an A52s5g and F41. Even the f41 doesn't have the issues you listed. It even plays 4k60 fps videos on YouTube which the A53 can't do for some reasons. And there is no shutter lag unless I try to take 10 photos in a second or use 64mp mode.

I previously used the M53, that phone didn't have such issues. Only this one seems to have these silly issues.
