Guys,
I have Samsung Galaxy A31 and also my carrier is Airtel for dual Sim.

1. In Samsung messages, I entered the mobile number to activate RCS but registration fail is shown.

2. I installed Google messages apps from play store and enabled RCS features but while enter the mobile number still didn't get OTP code and stuck at "setting up" and "trying to verify your number".

How to fix it? Why RCS is not working in Samsung messages apps? I used it long months back but now not working. I want to use RCS in Samsung messages

Try deregister for your number via this link then register again.

I have Jio and RCS works only with Google Messages app NOT with default Samsung Messages app.

This problem is not only in A31.

For me also it was working fine months ago but now Airtel is not supporting (I think .exactly I don't know).
I'm having 2 Airtel Sims in 2 device in both the device it always shows setupping in Google messages and failed in Samsung messages but rcs is working for jio and Vi in both the apps & device.

Ohh, I didn't face this issue so not sure.
One thing you can try. Insert SIM in any other device which has Google Messages as default set.
Try register from that. It it works then put back SIM again in main device and check.
