Proximity Sensor problems on A71 G5

How do we disable it during calls? Screen stays black and cannot end call nor text numbers from the black screen. Do we have to use speaker phone and keep tapping the surface to make it stay awake while looking at it?

I think By Changing the angle of Phone away from 45⁰ then the screen doesn't go off during a call

To enter this menu, power off the phone and press power and volume up keys.
