Problem with VoNR (Vo5G) in One UI 6

VoNR or Vo5G is not working during call. The network is getting switched to VoLTE. One of the most common suggestion is to force 'NR Only' mode using any third party app. However the problem in that case is if 5G network is not available the device would not switch to 4G automatically. Vo5G should be working in auto network mode.

Jio has not implement Vo5G in all areas. I also confirmed with them and tried using on 3 other devices in 2 major locations.1701235147055.jpg

If Jio has not implemented Vo5G then how come it is working in 'NR Only' mode?

Thats not actual Vo5G. You will miss many calls if you keep it that way unless Vo5G is implemented.

VoNR in NR only is very wonky, Jio is just testing out VoNR now in some areas. I have been able to get VoNR calls at some high footfall places in Bengaluru but that's it everywhere else 4G for calls.

Its on testing not for consumers. u cant not use for regular calling

Update: I did notice same thing ..Vo5G is working without 'NR Only' mode in some areas.. so it's Jio who has to do something now..
