I have always praised my device, ie A52s5g here. However, it was always about the software, camera quality, etc. There were many reports about A52 series and S20 series, including the s20 ultra, phones having the back panel pasting getting worn out within one year of use. Our friend Allen with Galaxy also had to re paste the back panel by visiting a service center. Some S20 users got their ip68 rated phones damaged due to water ingress because of this back panel gaps. Because I was aware of this issue, I kept a close check on my phone. Sadly, 2 days back I found that back panel of my A52s also lost the glue and there is a gap. Now, I have to fix it at a service center to retain the ip rating - waste of time and resources. Note that the phone is in pristine condition with not even a single scratch.

This is not acceptable that the midrange and even flagship devices are having poor quality control and are facing manufacturing defects. When added to the issues like the mass failure of s20plus displays, I highly doubt that the quality of manufacturing was compromised during the peak covid lock down days. Because s20 series and A52 series, including my device was manufactured during 2020 -2021.

Nb: Pls don't give me gyaan about bulging battery, handling of phone, etc, because the service center acknowledged that the battery is in good condition and there is no physical damage. This is not only me who is facing this particular issue, but many people are. Some even don't realise this issue until their phone gets water damage. This is because most of us use a back cover and this panel gap is very minute. This can be identified only on close examination.

I recommend not to buy these devices because no matter how good the software and cameras are, the phone won't last if it has poor built quality. S20plus users(display damage) and those A52 and S20 series users who trusted the IP rating learned this the hard way. So, if you are among the unfortunate ones who bought these devices, pls do keep checking the back panel once in a month. I don't claim that all of you will face this, but certainly a good number of us are facing this.

I agree differences would be there.... But now the fact is I lost trust in Samsung and will not purchase any mobile from this brand now on.
Just waiting for apple's new launch....
That brand is expensive but still they dont spam the customer, their software is bug free and security is top notch as you pay for it.
A52s was a **bleep** model.

Waiting for apple to launch a sub 40k worthy device, which may never happen. But you can always buy SE phones with half a decade old specifications.

Thanks for the advice........ but I consider Apple's SE phone as junk. So I do not recommend anyone to purchase that junk.

So, it is unfair to invoke Apple in to a discussion about sub 35k devices. Because they don't have any worthy product even under 45k, of course other than 2-3 year old phones. It is like saying that Ferrari is the best when discussing about innova crysta or tata safari. There is no comparison.

I never compared S20FE 5G to iphone.
I was comparing both smart phone brand companies i.e. Samsung vs Apple.

Please read it again.

I get what you meant by " all of a sudden". Pls read this fully without prejudice.

There are several other posts and comments I made about the issues on my device over the time. None of this was made " all of a sudden". Here also, I was talking about the built quality. I cannot talk about the back panel getting separated before it happen, right? It has to happen for me to report it.

Further, none of the above links are posts made by me "all of a sudden" but by other members over the course of last year. And there are many more such posts here, as well as on Twitter. I provided links of SOME of those posts because I knew people would come up with opinions suggesting that I am posting this now because of my recent disagreements with certain proceedings on this platform. But I have to say that such opinions on my views are entirely baseless and biased.

Same issue after fixing it at a service center? That's poor quality. Are they using rice paste instead of glue!!?
