What's the use of secure folder if we can't use otp based applications inside it. So Samsung wants us to use otp based payment applications outside the secure folder so that it'll be easier for hackers to **bleep** into it. What nonsense from a reputed company!

In my samsung phone we can use all payment apps. Otp system is working super fine. New secure folder is the best for me from this reputed company SAMSUNG.. completely secured.

Try to uninstall a payment application and reinstall it. You will get to know the problem. Samsung has sent this official reply to my query. So all that "reputed company" is rubbish.1704866037181.jpg

Which apps you are trying to install? I just added google pay and paytm today in my secure folder. No problem related with otp in my S22 plus. It is perfectly working in my phone may be it is not working for your model.

This is a super stupid decision taken by Samsung software team. It renders the purpose of secure folder useless. They should reconsider or all my friends and family will move away from the brand in very near future.

Turn OFF this setting in Secure Folder.1704859605441_1704859605432_0.jpg

Tried it. It seems that samsung has disabled all otp based applications from being used inside the seduce folder. If you had it already installed, then it'll work, but if you want to reinstall the application, it won't work.
