It's Friday 8th of December and still no One Ui 6 for A53 in South Africa....at this point I'm close to saying I don't want it anymore 😒😒😒..my lil brother uses an IPhone bro you got to love how their updates work
I paid money for this phone I think I have a right to complain about things I don't like...and just because I use samsung it doesn't necessarily mean I have to hate on apple of talk about good things I'd like to see samsung copy,which is software updates right now...again is samsung learning about their many devices recently or they always knew? Because if they've always known they would have find ways to solve the issue of software updates coming late to other devices
I also have the mutual feeling bro, you're absolutely right to feel like that because you're a customer and you purchased the device with your money. In order for Samsung to improve they should receive plenty of BACKLASH from unhappy consumers.
In a way that when a new one is released, you need to upgrade to it.. obviously, the focus goes from the latest device going down the list.
Some countries have received one ui 6 for S22 ultra.. there is also a way to flash a one ui 6 firmware in case the update isn't available yet on one's region.. you just have to be familiar with the necessary procedures involving Odin. Or rather join the beta community on the samsung members app and change your region on your device to the US or India or any other supporting country/region.

There are a few factors to keep in mind when it comes to our rollouts.
1.Software updates are released in batches, therefore, not all devices will be able to update at once. The reason for this is to maintain a stable rollout.
2. There are network locked device (when you purchase your device from MTN, Vodacom, Telkom, etc.), these devices may receive updates later than unlocked devices because the updates have to pass through the network carrier for configuration to suit their network before being released. This is why you find people using certain networks receiving updates before others . The network service providers also release a mini "Beta" version to test the update. (Which is what is currently happening at the moment, the people who have received the update are up on the testing phase before the official rollout is released)
3. Also it is important to note software varies per region, that is why we just cannot release software at once as it has to be configured to suit each region
