I’ve been a loyal Samsung user, but lately, I’ve started to regret choosing their midrange phones over the competition. Brands like Nothing and Motorola are killing it with sleek designs, bloatware-free software, and beautiful displays, while Samsung’s midrange options still rock outdated designs (some even with a notch!) and are packed with unnecessary apps that slow things down. The camera performance is also a letdown compared to what the Google Pixel A series offers.
In this competitive market, it’s hard to justify sticking with Samsung’s midrange phones when other brands are clearly offering better specs and user experiences at similar price points. I hope Samsung steps up their game soon, but for now, it feels like they’re falling behind.
And Samsung is treating their budget/ midrange phone weakly in the case of software update. Samsung only thinks their flagship phone optimization and timely providing software update. I have f34 and I know it is under quarterly update policy. But it running around 4 months I don't received any security update!!!!
I think major issue in Samsung midrange phones is overall smoothness while using the phone. UI features, screen, battery life and cameras are similar or sometime better than competition but app opening speed and overall smoothness is below par. I think Samsung need to trim down the features and focus on UI in midrange phones. One UI performance on flagship phones is excellent.
You will get many more errors while using phone, don't understand why Samsung pushes OS update except security ones when it can't handle this. Now my s21fe have many issues like overheating, removal of magnetic eraser in gallery, superfast draining of battery etc. Phone is behaving weird and feels downgraded instead of upgrade. Samsung should release a new update for atleast its own exynos chip containing devices. 🥶
