I need help. I think my phone has been hacked.

2 days back my insta account was hacked

And in the process of trying to recover it back I got a message through Instagram on watsapp. And today they have told me that the issue is my phone since it got hacked in the process of the all this

I had shared my personal details with my friend's insta account which was hacked too. That is why I didn't think much before sharing. It had slipped my mind that my friend had warned me a month ago that her insta account was hacked. And I had forgotten to report and block that account. And later the hacker behaved like it is my friend and scammed. It was my mistake that i didn't think and verify with my friend on other platforms that I was still following her hacked account.

Hacking an app is not the same with hacking the phone

Apps like insta won't be hacked unless you clicked on a link or shared the same network with a hacker ( advanced ones)
You gotta be careful with that
Hope you can recover your account

Always make sure that your social media accounts got all the required information like email .real phone number not virtual one . Security question etc.
