Galaxy AHi, I had used A50 to share wifi with laptop but after the update to Android 10 and UI 2 my laptop stopped seeing my hotspot. I guess that the wireless frequency (ap band) was changed to 5 ghz and my laptop does not support it.
How can I go back to 2.4?
Thanks in advance.

Galaxy Areset network settings else use factory reset from settings
keep phone mear laptop for proper connection because 5ghz has high speed but lesser area coverage so strong connection should be there and a50 supports dual band wifi

Galaxy AHe doesn't talking about the wifi or the router, he talks about the AP Band setting in the mobile tethering menu

Galaxy ASame with me on my galaxy A70 and A71, I think Samsung deleted the frequency option after One UI 2 and now I can't connect my mobile hotspot tethering to my laptop coz I think it's automatically set to 5Ghz AP Band. Very well Samsung, I'm very disappointed with your update.

Galaxy ASomesh, that is not true. My Android 9 phone supports both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. AFAIK, the 802.11ac spec requires a compatible device support both bands.
