GBoard vs Samsung Keyboard

I used GBoard and Samsung Keyboard. Here are my thoughts:

1. Next word prediction works much better in GBOARD

2. Letter spacing is better in Gboard

3. Keyboard sound is better in Samsung Keyboard

4. There are more theme options in Gboard though we have Keycafe in Samsung Goodlock however that means install two more apps.

Whats your view?

I agree with your observation. I also feel word prediction or auto complete for Indian languages (Marathi, Hindi) is far better in Gboard.

But clipboard copy , sharing with PC is better in Samsung keyboard.

Gboard any day due to numberpad.

True I came back to Samsung Keyboard then again moved to Gboard.

I keep juggling between the two and can't decide on only one keyboard 😂...

In Gboard...the undo on backspace, duplicate keys in foldable, whatsapp sticker integration, better Hindi to English transliteration and better translation makes Gboard good to use.

Samsung keyboard on the otherhand has better clipboard management, multiple emoji predictions, better writing adaptation and letter prediction, the trackpad is good, and overall typing experience is much smoother on Samsung keyboard.

In short...can't just use one keyboard..I have given up choosing only one keyboard 😅

Haha true, voice typing is also better i Gboard.

Definitely...in the Samsung keyboard setting I have changed to Google voice typing...works like a charm
