Finally, the a52s update that we needed.

As you all know, a52s was filled with bugs in one ui 4 update and february patch introduced more bugs and didn't fixed old bugs. Well, samsung now released one ui 4.1 and the old a52s is now back. One ui 4.1 fixed most of the bugs, scrolling effect bugs in chrome, photo editor not having object eraser and multi touch bugs are still there, but the device is way better than it was in the one ui 4. Camera is so good now! Blur effect bugs are gone, performance is so much better, battery life is way better, 120hz finally feels like 120hz instead of feeling like 60hz, 120hz finally works on AOD as previously AOD worked in 60hz, all the camera bugs are gone, brightness issues are gone too, and the device feels way better as it was in the one ui 3.1. All the major issues are fixed. Samsung finally understood the power of their users and what they can do. They thought that they will make a52s bad to sell a53 and we wouldn't even notice. Thanks to all the samsung members for reporting these issues. We finally got the update that fixed all the major bugs. The old one ui 3.1 a52s is back.

Though this update fixes most of the bugs, it is actually a trimmed down version of One UI 4.1. Many good features like smart widgets have been omitted by Samsung.

Yes, lot's of features are missing, but atleast we have a stable update with not many bugs.

Have you managed to test out the battery a bit in the past few days? What's the Screen on Time after the one ui 4.1 update?

Also have you noticed if they've fixed the heating issues?

Here's the SOT after one ui 4.1 with charging capped at 85% and phone currently at 17%. The SOT is way better than one ui 4.0, it's 2x better. Device heats a lot less than one ui 4.0.

And you're running it on 120hz, right? Also what's your brightness at approximately?

Great to hear they've also fixed the heating issues, those could've caused a lot of other issues internally after a while

Yes, I'm using it at 120hz, and here is my brightness level.
The heating issues are not entirely fixed, but it's much better than one ui 4. Nothing beats the stability of one ui 3.1

Oh okay, well at least the battery's almost as good as it was before. I mean I'm still on one ui 3.1 and the one ui 4.0/android 12 update is downloaded and ready to be installed but I'm just checking if it is worth installing that and then the 4.1 right after that one to fix the issues the 4.0 brought. I'm not sure if I should go for it and install it all now or wait a bit more for the April security update to go through as well and then update them all one after the other.

What are you're suggestions? I know I can't stay on 3.1 forever even though I'd like to lol
