Galaxy A
While using TalkBack on my Samsung Galaxy A15 (Android 15), I noticed that the proximity sensor does not function as expected. Earlier, when I moved my hand close to the screen while TalkBack was speaking, it would pause or stop reading — but now, it continues reading regardless of proximity.
It seems that TalkBack is not responding to the proximity sensor, which affects usability, especially for visually impaired users who rely on quick silence gestures.
Request:
- Please re-enable proximity sensor support in TalkBack.
- When the sensor detects nearby obstruction (like a hand), TalkBack should pause or stop reading instantly.
This feature was very helpful before and should be brought back or fixed in current updates.
