External Microphone issue on Samsung A52

Hi,

I bought a Maono dual head lavalier microphone for my videos, the problem is, when I plug the microphone into my phone, it doesn't work! Rather, the phone's microphone is active.

The problem is that the A52 does not pick up sound from the lavalier microphone.

I tried all the solutions I could find on Youtube but nothing worked!

So, I come here to find help.
