Issue with earphone mic

Hello Everyone,
I'm using Samsung Galaxy A52 4G. When I connect earphone, Microphone is not working. My earphone is ok and I tried different earphone including samsung one. No one can listen my voice. I also see that when earphone is connected, if I open recording app it shows,"External mic will be used to record audio". How to solve this?
Software update information 
Current version: A525FXXU3AUG4 / A525FODM3AUG3 / A525FXXU3AUG4
Security patch level: August 1, 2021 Software update.

Your earphone has a mic, that's why the voice recording app said about using external mic.

Does the phone mic work ?

Test you earphone mic on other phones.
If its only happening with your phone, either your earphone port is damaged or its a software issue.

earphone is absolutely okey. I checked it with another phone. My phone doesn't got any physical damage and before software update it was working fine. Does factory rest can fix this problem?

May be it can, i think its worth a try. But not 100% sure about the fix.
