Restart shouldn't affect the device functions but should maximise its efficiency. But nowadays galaxy devices after restarting are frozen without any access to even calls and sometimes caller tunes are also muted automatically along with caller ID.
This only leads to an even more laggy device . Especially for auto updates after which I had to dig the ground for finding my mobile as it was muted and lost connectivity. Even after restart apps screen takes time to load I don't know if this is my issue since my device is new 🙃
In my experience with old galaxy devices this never happened so I would like to ask for the support of fellow members to bring this to samsung s deskand ask for the reworking of therestart option in the upcoming update
