Call recorder not working

The call recording service is not working. Unable to switch on call recoding even when on calls. Toggling the Automatic call record function in the phone app has no effect.

Call recording will not work on wifi calling in samsung phones. You have to turn off wifi calling

Samsung needs to provide this feature to work call recording on wifi calling. We can't do anything to this

If you are using wifi calling then it won't work, turn it off and try again

Note: If you are using Wi-Fi calling then you won't be able to record any calls.
Step1: if still problem persists, then perform ‘Reset app preferences
Go to Settings > Apps > Three dots > Reset app preferences > Reset
Step2: Restart the device
Step3: Reset the settings
Go to Settings > Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset all settings > Reset settings
Step4: Software update
Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install > Download > Install now
Note: Steps may vary depending on the OS & device model.
Step4: Record calls
Step5: Recorded calls
