I have this problem where all of my songs which are present in my Offline Music folder are not showing up in my Samsung Music app. In the screen recording you can see that in the Samsung Music app, it is showing that there are 12 songs in the Offline Music folder but when I go into the Offline Music folder, in actuality there are 13 songs. The one song that it is not showing is that of Bad History. Why is it not showing that song? Does anybody know how to fix it?

Also the songs which do not show up in the Samsung Music app are not even playable in the app even if I wanted to. I have attached another screen recording and here you can see that when I play the other songs, a toggle called 'Go to Samsung Music' appears which allows me to play the song directly in the Samsung Music app. But when I play the song of Bad History, the toggle does not even come up. Why?

I think the musics apps need the already set .xyz extension. I.e., only the supported media will be opened and played by particular app or take this Music app.
So The recordings was not being accepted by Samsung music. These will b e played by that app only.
I think this is the satisfying solution for your issue.
You can chk it for apps other than Samsung Music. And if this is false, reply to correct this if u've any idea or chk another source to resolve the same.

It has .m4a extension. Other files with the same extension are showing up in Samsung Music.

So more than the extension, it appears to be the codecs used in that file.

Do you know how to change the extension of a song to one which is supported by Samsung Music?

The Bad History song is not the only one with .m4a extension. There are a couple of other songs with the same extension in the folder and Samsung Music is able to play them with ease.

That is what I said in my 1st comment above. The problem is not the extension, but the codecs used in creating the file.

As with renaming the extension, just rename it as you would rename any other file. But instead of the filename, rename the extension. Do note that if you rename the extension, it may or may not be readable/ playable. If that happens, just rename it back to the original extension.

Is the file playable in the File Manager? I mean can you hear the music?
