The Samsung Galaxy A52s was marketed as having 3 years of major Android updates and 4 years of security updates, but this has turned out to be a warning that Samsung will control the phone for up to 4 years. Samsung is now constantly downgrading not just the A52s, but other older smartphones, in order to sell their new, underpowered series. They have even downgraded the S23 Ultra, which is far better than the S24 Ultra, in order to make the new model appear better by comparison. This seems to be a deliberate strategy by Samsung, similar to the fictional company "Vought" in the real world. As a result, I'm not planning to switch back to Samsung in the future
