Because 5g antina bands are consume more battery than 4g , so for your device health when your device is heated up , your performance with 5g conectivity
Is reduced

5g consumes a lot of power , thus to reduce temperature it switches to 4g

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we want to inform you that while using 5g networks due to higher power consumption will cause the mobile phone to heat up more than usual. Because, if the phone is connected to multiple networks at the same time, the battery may drain faster, and the phone will be heating more than usual. To decrease heat the networks will automatically change from 5G to 4G.
