it will come automatically. i never updated play services. today morning when i said ok Google (lol) assistant message came forth

go to call log settings. the first option must be Off in your phone

factory reset. install latest February patch. wait for 1-2 days for the phone to calibrate itself. you'll be good to go. there are many threads relating to this issue
