Also I faced the same issue. By going safe mode within 35 min full update done.

Go to safe mode and try to download again. It will work.

Switch off the phone. Then turn on by pressing volume down + power button. Once samsung logo appear, release power button but keep pressing volume down. You will directly go to safe mode. And once update done, safe mode will deactivate automatically.
