Finally, I got this fixed at Samsung service center. The agent was able to diagonize correctly. I now do not have the lag pblm any more. Works like how it worked the day one. Super satisfied with this particular service agent.
I notice this lags happening after last security update. Not sure if it's a coincidence or the actual root cause but I see a lot of ppl complaing abt this issue in diff communities
